Julie Gaven is a Greenville NC resident offering over a decade of allied health, acute care and inpatient rehabilitation experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in large level 1 trauma centers and academic teaching hospitals. A thought leader in creative problem solving and facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration, she also brings many years of specialty training in competitive public speaking and music performance (including voice, choral, theatrical, & instrumental) skillsets to the table in supporting your communicative success.  

A dedicated research advocate and holistic quality of life enthusiast, Julie is a published author, clinical innovator and recipient of numerous professional awards. She is a certified brain longevity specialist who enjoys sharing her neurological and airway expertise, dynamic public speaking skills and engaging teaching style via a variety of educational outreach initiatives. This includes the honor of serving as a site coordinator for the statewide NC Registry for Brain Health, and allyship work on behalf of social justice horizons through her affiliation with the local SAFE ZONE and Sexual/Gender Diversity Committee at ECU.
